Achieving goals in stressful times!

Sorry it has been a few weeks since I last blogged. It's been a very hectic time as we have just moved to a new house, in a new province, and have also been dealing with a family member suffering from this terrible virus. What a strange and scary world we are living in today! I hope that you are all living smart and staying safe. We are now on Day 100 of the "Journey of Courage" and would never have believed that 2020 would go this way. Going forward, our world will be a different place but needing to work hard to achieve our goals will never change.

We recently moved to Vancouver Island and every day I give thanks for the stunning views from our house. It is a dream come true as I have always loved the mountains and to have a view of the mountains and the ocean is all I have ever hoped for. This didn't just happen though, it took planning and goal setting to get us to where we are today. Achieving goals is something we can all do if we put our minds to it. It takes planning and focus, coupled with hard work every day, to make sure you are staying on track and meeting your goals. No matter how much our lives are being disrupted at that moment we can't let go our of goals. It is actually more important than ever that we distract ourselves right now. This pandemic will pass, and when it does we want to make sure that we have stayed on track There are certain principles of effective goal setting that can be adopted and practiced to ensure your success. Whatever you need help with, whether it be anxiety, career changes, relationship issues, or financial problems, goal setting will be part of your plan forward. As a life coach, goal setting is one of the things that I can help you with. If this is something that is of interest to you, please go to the website to schedule an appointment.

Next month I am running a FREE course on "Living with Anxiety" and to register you will have to email me at angela@youknowyoubest.com and tell me a little about yourself and why you want to take part.

Stay Safe!
