Life CAN be fun!

Not only can it be fun, but it should be fun! If not, what is the point?

Now I’m also a realist, and I know that every moment of every day is not going to be all sunshine and light, but would you settle for 90% of the time?

On my darkest days, I would have settled for 20% of the time!

This journey through life, that we are all on right now, is never going to be easy. What I can assure you of, is that life is simple, and being happy 90% of the time is totally possible and within your grasp!

It is all about the thoughts that you choose. You can choose to believe me or not, but it is a fact, that what you choose to think about becomes your reality. Therefore, our future is dictated by our thoughts, simple!

Changing your thought pattern takes time, and it isn’t easy, but the principles are simple.

Please, please, ask me how I know.

Because I have been to hell and back, that is how I know. I’m not going to dwell on me and my journey, but I can assure you that I have experienced depression, anxiety, panic attacks, relationship issues, hating my job, hating myself, etc., etc.…

Recovery from all that trauma takes time, but you must be willing to take the first step and get some help. I also know that even asking for help is not easy, no matter how desperate we feel.

The fact remains though, that finding professional help is the only way to go. Why keep suffering and wasting value days of your life, when help is available to you. If I could go back in life and change anything, it would be seeking help sooner. Feeling like you have wasted valuable years, and not being able to get those back, is heart-wrenching.

This is where life coaching started for me. Once I had recovered, my thoughts were that I didn’t want anyone else to suffer like I did. I had to find a way to help others, I had to find a platform, and that was life coaching. That led to the creation of You Know You Best.

Here is what I recommend, and hopefully you will find this information useful.

If you are depressed, then I always recommend firstly speaking to your doctor and discussing what would be beneficial for you. This may include medication.

Some of you may have trauma from things that happened in your past, issues that haven’t been resolved. In that case it is important to get some professional therapy. Again, please discuss this with your doctor as they may be able to recommend a therapist.

For the majority of you, life coaching may be exactly what you need. The difference is that life coaching focuses on NOW, it starts with where you are today and looks at what you want your future to look like.

A life coach can help you see your future with clarity and work with you to overcome all the emotional baggage that you continue to carry around with you.

Life coaching, and in particular my style of coaching is not going to work for everyone. All that I ask is that you give it a try, whether with me or someone else. Please, if you know that you are stuck, if you know that you need help, then don’t waste another minute, get help TODAY!

At You Know You Best, I offer a complementary session and there is absolutely ZERO pressure to work with me. I am committed to working with my clients weekly, for a minimum of 6 months. As I stated above, this is a process and it takes time!
